I believe in process vs. product when it comes to children's artwork. BUT, there is no reason why the process can't turn into a product at the end! So, after Austin's paintings were dry, I cut them, stapled, stuffed with the scraps, and hung up his pumpkins! I used green ribbon to make the curly tendrils you have on gourds and used a paper clip to hang them on our fan/light in the dining room. When Austin got up this morning, and I placed him in his high chair, he pointed at them and asked, "Wha tis?" I told them they were his pumpkins that he painted yesterday!
They came out really cute if I don't say so myself....
